Andrés Moreno
Andrés Moreno is the founder of Moreno and Associates. He has been practicing law since 1984. Prior to starting his own firm, he was a partner in another law firm.
Since Andrés started practicing law, he developed expertise and practiced in various legal areas including Immigration Law, Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation (both Federal Criminal Defense and State Criminal Defense), Arbitration, Contract Litigation, and Business Litigation. He draws from his vast experience and knowledge to advise clients in Immigration Law, Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law.
Aside from being an advocate for our clients in various legal issues, Andrés is also a former Judge-Pro-Tempore of the South Bay Judicial District. Thus, when dealing with complicated legal cases, all of the attorneys of the firm seek his guidance and experience as a former Judge-Pro-Tempore in analyzing the most probable outcome of a given legal issue or a case.
Andrés is a member of the International Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Hispanic Bar Association, the National Criminal Bar Association, the La Raza Lawyers Association, and the San Diego Chamber of Commerce.

Andrés Moreno II earned his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He has been practicing immigration law for 24 years and working with a team that has been practicing immigration law since 1984. He started as a paralegal in law school and became a senior immigration attorney at Moreno and Associates Law Firm. He has helped clients navigate their immigration issues with his vast knowledge and experience in immigration law. He currently handles cases from all over the country and has represented clients from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
He has handled cases both in and out of court by processing family petitions, labor petitions, business visas, religious visas, athletes visas, musicians visas, U visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) application, deportation/removal defense, asylum applications, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) application, cancellation of removal applications, withholding applications, Convention Against Torture applications (CAT), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival applications (DACA), inadmissibility waivers like unlawful presence and deportation waivers, adoptions, provisional waivers, Western Hemisphere Applications, 245(i) applications, 204(L) applications, humanitarian visas, humanitarian reinstatement petitions, labor certification petitions, H-1b, fiancee visas, and naturalization applications.

Alina Moreno
Alina Moreno graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Afterwards, she went on to graduate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar.
Alina was recruited by Moreno and Associates in December of 1999. Subsequently, she has handled over hundreds of cases in various legal areas such as Family Law, Immigration, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law.
When handling her cases, Alina takes a tough but practical approach to fighting for her clients. She believes that resolving their legal issues quickly is the best way to win a fight.
